Loyal Companions Property Management LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website (loyalcompanionspm.com), manages vacation rentals and long-term residential rentals in Rhode Island, and provides a tenant & owner portal at app.loyalcompanionspm.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information across all of these services.
Information we collect
- Contact information — name, email address, and phone number, provided when you book a stay, inquire about a rental, sign a lease, or use the tenant portal.
- Lease & booking information — property address, stay or lease dates, rent or booking amounts, and payment schedules.
- Payment information — processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe). We do not store your bank credentials or full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data — basic analytics about visits to this website and login activity in the portal, used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use your information
- To manage bookings, leases, rent collection, and property services.
- To send transactional email and SMS notifications such as payment reminders, payment confirmations, overdue notices, and account alerts.
- To respond to inquiries and communicate about your stay, lease, or account.
SMS / text messaging
When you provide your phone number during lease signing, in the tenant portal, or when booking with us, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Loyal Companions Property Management related to your lease, rent payments, or stay. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any lease, booking, or purchase. Message types include payment reminders, payment confirmations, payment failure alerts, and overdue notices.
Message frequency varies based on your payment schedule (typically 2–6 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and get help by replying HELP or contacting us at [email protected] or (401) 345-6161.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; phone numbers and SMS consent will not be shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party for their own use. Mobile information is shared only with our SMS delivery provider, solely to deliver the messages described above.
Information sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us operate:
- Stripe — secure payment processing.
- Twilio — SMS notification delivery.
- Resend — email notification delivery.
- Property owners — the owner of a property you rent can view payment status and lease information for their own property.
Data security & retention
All connections to our website and portal use HTTPS encryption, and payment data is handled by PCI-compliant processors. We retain your information for the duration of your lease or booking relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
