To get to the beach, you can either walk down Burnside Avenue (on the sidewalk) to the beach, or you can walk in the neighborhood, down Jamestown Blvd to Green Lane to a cut-through next to 24 Greene Lane and over to Angell Road and directly to Scarborough Beach. (about 1/2 mile) Mostly by auto but there is bus service/taxis/uber available. Scarborough Beach is less than a mile away and definitely walkable. Wonderful restaurants and beaches within minutes
